Pedals,
pedals and more pedals! Is your playing area littered
with foot pedals? Racked and stacked with numerous effects, pre-amplifiers, unwanted signal loss and coloration? Sounds like you could use some help from the Kitty Hawk Midi Looper. A single rack space unit designed to take care of all your switching requirements. No need to be a computer programmer to operate the Midi Looper. We promise there wont be a 50 page manual to read and memorize, nor a main menu, submenu and sub-submenu to program and operate your Midi Looper! Simplicity is the key word with versatility and usable functions every modern guitar player dreams of. The Kitty Hawk Midi Looper is equipped with a maximum 6 Effects Loops that can be configured to run in mono or stereo. Plug your guitar into the "Main In" jack with the corresponding "Main Out" jack connecting to your amplifier. Connect the "Loop Out" jack of the Midi Looper to the input of your pedal or device with the finishing connection of the pedal output jack returning to the Midi Loopers "Loop In" jack. Its that simple! Repeat the In/Out Loop connections for complete control of up to 6 effects. For stereo configurations, follow the patch diagram supplied in the manual. Included in this unit is a handy A/B switch enabling a guitar signal to be routed to 2 different amplifiers for On/Off control. Use it as a splitter to run 2 amplifiers simultaneously, or as a "Mute Switch". The A/B switch can also be used in reverse, switch between 2 pre-amplifier outputs to 1 power amplifier input. Heres the biggy! Programming. Dont laugh! When you turn on the Midi Looper it is already in "Preset Protect Mode". To engage or disengage any Effects Loop or A/B switch, depress the two outside momentary buttons (marked "1" and "B", located on the right side of the front panel) simultaneously. This sets the Midi Looper to "Program Entry Mode". Move from preset to preset via a midi controller (such as the Kitty Hawk Midi Flight Path, engaging any combination of Effects Loops1 through 6 or A/B switch settings from the front panel LED Display switches. All switch settings are stored as soon as you enter them. When you are finished, power the Midi Looper off to preserve your switch settings. Powering the Midi Looper on again will recall all settings per preset, as you originally entered them. Remember, in order to modify any preset you must return to "Program Entry Mode". This is to protect your presets from accidental changes. This programming method is common to all Kitty Hawk Midi Controlled equipment. Painless, Was'nt it? Note: |
