This is where it starts and finishes. The main building block of any guitar setup, big or small, is the original sound of the amplifier and loudspeaker cabinet. Forget the pedals, equalizers and racks of effects processors for one minute. Get back to the basics and plug an electric guitar straight into the input of an Apache Amplifier.

This is an amplifier like no other. Gain and tone controls that respond dramatically to every subtle increment! Harmonic overtones, precision attack and rich tonal textures are qualities unique to the "All Tube Driven" Apache amplifier. Available in 50, 100 and 150 watt outputs , the Apache is a two channel amplifier guaranteed to satisfy the most demanding guitarist.
The clean channel provides tone adjustment for Treble and Bass, while the Lead section offers tone controls for Treble, Middle and Bass. The Presence control affects both channels and delivers upper-midrange gain control for that classic bright sound. Channel gain can be adjusted from a moderate distortion level to a "Never Ending Sustain" lead guitar solo sound. For trimmings, the Apache is equipped with a boost circuit active on the both channels. The boost circuit delivers that little extra volume for soaring solos and razor-sharp clarity.

The Apache amplifier is furnished with the famous 3-Spring Accutronics Reverb: A smooth, clear reverberation device, designed to enhance and stimulate note-for-note when engaged. If desired, effects and processors can be inserted at the rear of the amplifier with the provided Send and Return jacks. Boost circuit and Channel switching are accessed from the front panel channel selector, or can be engaged with the use of a Pedal Set or Switcher device via the footswitch jack. Impedance selection is variable from 4, 8 and 16 ohms to accommodate any loudspeaker box or wiring configuration.

Every Component is manually checked to assure that highest quality standards are maintained. All pre-amplifier tubes (12AX7) are tested for high gain stability, sonic clarity and are accompanied by factory matched output power tubes (EL34). With the most stringent specifications Kitty Hawk designs and manufactures Reverb, AC power and output transformers for all its amplifiers.

This amplifier could not have been designed if not for the involvement of professional and amateur guitarists alike. Their ideas and suggestions have been implemented to produce an amplifier we are truly proud of, the Apache!

Note:
For adaptation to a midi systems, we suggest incorporating a Kitty Hawk
Midi Switcher or Midi Looper to your setup for additional control of Apache Channel Select and Boost Circuit functions.
Extensive Multi-Effects and Processor users may want to explore the benefits of a Kitty Hawk
Midi Looper One or more devices connected to your amplifier Input or Effect Loop can seriously degrade audio quality. The use of a Kitty Hawk Looper will enable you to engage and disengage devices in signal path, function as a silent tuner, mute switch and much more!
